INGREDIENTS
1 box Vanilla Cake Mix
8 tbsp Butter melted
2 cans Strawberry Pie Filling
8 oz Whipped Cream Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350° and spray a 9x13 cake pan.
Pour both cans of pie filling in the bottom of the pan.
Add dollops of cream cheese on top of the pie filling.
In a mixing bowl, pour melted butter over cake mix and stir to make a crumble.
Spread crumble on top of the other layers.
Bake for 30 minutes.

I'm sorry to say that when I made the Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake it did not turn out like a cheesecake. It was pie filling with the dollops of whipped cream cheese and crumbled cake on top. Way too sweet and no one wanted to eat it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a step was omitted in the directions - there was no bottom crust like a cheese cake would have and I think that would help.
