Potato wedges


 

Ingredients


¾ c. tsp (3 mL) salt


½ tsp. tsp (2 mL) sugar


½ tsp. (2 mL) paprika


¼ tsp. tsp (1 mL) ground mustard


¼ tsp. (1 mL) garlic powder, if desired


3 large baking potatoes

Steps


Preheat the oven to 427 ° F (220 ° C). In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the salt, sugar, paprika, mustard and garlic powder.


Cut each potato in half lengthwise. Turn the potato halves over, cut sides down, and cut each half lengthwise into 4 slices. In a 13 x 9-inch (38 x 27 cm) pan, place the potato slices, skin side down.


Spray potatoes with cooking spray (without flour) until lightly coated. Sprinkle with the salt mixture.


Bake, uncovered, 25/30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender when a fork is inserted. Cooking time will varyy depending on the size and type of potatoes used.
